The Program
Spirit of Speed Arctic
Have you already attended mainstream automotive winter training courses in heavy new production cars standing on near-road tires? Then it’s surely time to experience the real deal – where you can push our specially prepared rally-inspired cars to their limits. Join our race-inspired winter training with air- and water-cooled sports cars, all fitted with authentic World Rally Championship tires.
Our team of hand-picked professional drivers deliver bespoke, individual programs with one instructor per car and a maximum of five cars in total.
A perfect mix of advanced driving time, real ice, and rally tracks becomes the ideal playground to challenge yourself and “your” rally-inspired RS edition. Everyone can join, regardless of experience. Our trainings are one-to-one and highly personal – so no former experience is required.
Spirit of Speed Arctic Control
Since this program is fully individualised, don’t worry about your prior experience. Whether you’re a first-timer or have extensive driving experience, we start at your level and progress quickly. If you’re less experienced, we’ll begin with a short driving introduction before heading to the tracks, where you’ll soon master the fine art of ice driving. Together with your instructor, we’ll design your perfect driving program, combining section training and full track driving to match your individual skills and goals. Our unique intercom radio system ensures easy and comfortable communication with your instructor and co-driver. For the more experienced, simply tell us how fast you want to go, and we’ll help you get there.
The program includes lots of driving time, enhanced by our special night-driving sessions, and an optional data acquisition system to help create the perfect driving experience. Arctic Control is a 2-day program, but we also offer 3-day programs upon request.
Spirit of Speed Arctic Race
Like Arctic Control, but with the added option of competition. It’s all about speed and excitement, without sacrificing fun. Whether you choose Arctic Control or Arctic Race, our goal is to deliver “driving heaven”—and it doesn’t stop there! At Arctic Race, we introduce the stopwatch and let you rally through the forest on long, hilly, curvy tracks. The result is a true rally experience, complete with pace notes, allowing you to race against your co- driver and others in the group. To achieve this, we don’t just tell you how to drive a stage; we teach you how to drive it as fast as possible, pushing you to and beyond your limits.

Arrival Day
Arrive individually at Kittilä Airport or Kolari Railway Station. From there, it’s a scenic 30-minute transfer to our luxurious new home base, Kide Lodges, nestled in the heart of Finnish Lapland at the Ylläs Ski Resort.
This ski-in, ski-out location places you right on the slope, with direct access to trekking trails, the bike park, spa, rentals, shops, and restaurants. After check-in, unwind in your private Nordic-designed lodge with panoramic views, open living spaces, fireplaces, and sauna.
Later, the team will host a welcome briefing on ice driving techniques, followed by a warm local dinner. Get some rest… your ice adventure begins tomorrow.
Driving Day 1
After an early breakfast, the team shuttles you 20 mins through the most amazing winter landscapes, and the goal is the driving area where a unique combination of ice and rally tracks awaits you.
Before you enter the rally area, a seat fitting and introduction to the cars will take place to ensure your comfort while driving in the coming days. Finally, a full day of training customized to your skills, abilities, and goals! You’ll start with section training to get to know the cars and tires, followed by full-track driving.
After seven hours on the tracks, we’ll shuttle you back for a well-deserved rest before serving a local dinner. For the Arctic Race option, we’ll also prepare pace notes and hold a rally briefing.
Driving Day 2
After an early breakfast, it is time to head back to the driving area for more intensive and customized ice driving. Today we enter new and more demanding tracks, and the intensity increases as much as you can handle – we have tracks for all driver levels.
For the Arctic Race option, you can opt for the full rally experience with a full-timed session just like a real winter rally. Long stages and maximum adrenaline. If timing is not for you then keep practicing and enjoy this driving nirvana. Tired but full of adrenaline after 6 hours of active driving, it’s time for a farewell dinner.
Hidden from tourists, an authentic restaurant with only one table and one reservation per evening prepares a 6-course dinner just for you. Local ingredients are used as extensively as possible. Enjoy the dinner while sharing all the great driving moments from the past two days. As we return to the villas, it’s time for farewells.
Departure Day
Breakfast is enjoyed before it’s time to pack up the memories and head home. When the time comes, we will shuttle you to the Airport. Thank you for joining us on our winter adventure and see you next year!
Driving Area & Accommodation
Driving Area & Locations
We are proud to have our own fully private driving area, with no other groups or shared tracks. Located remotely on a former iron mine, this area offers all three driving surfaces: frozen lake, marshland, and hard-packed rally tracks. Every layout, width, and speed option was designed by us, covering a thrilling 3 km² area for just 4 or 5 cars at a time.
Your basecamp is the exclusive Kide Lodges in Ylläs, Lapland, a serene and luxurious setting just 30 minutes from the airport. Featuring timeless Nordic architecture, panoramic alpine views, ski slope access, and wood-and-stone interiors, each 205 m² lodge blends privacy with alpine elegance. The lodges include sauna rooms, heated terraces, après-ski lounges, en-suite rooms, and a studio apartment for added flexibility.
Between driving sessions, relax at our nearby coffee hut or recharge with local lunches in a charming off-the-map restaurant. At Kide Lodges, your Arctic driving dreams meet elevated comfort.

Your stay at Kide Lodges is not just luxurious, it’s inspired by nature and designed for connection. Set directly on the ski slope and surrounded by forest, each 205 m² lodge includes:
