Who we are
Driven by a shared love for adventure and collaboration, the Beyond Adventure team comprises travel specialists, automotive enthusiasts, and event professionals. Each member brings their unique blend of care and daring to every project, ensuring each one is nothing short of extraordinary.
The Program
Have you already attended mainstream automotive winter training courses in heavy new production cars standing on near-road tires? Then it’s surely time to experience the real deal – where you can push our specially prepared rally-inspired cars to their limits. Join our race-inspired winter training with air- and water-cooled sports cars, all fitted with authentic World Rally Championship tires.
Our team of hand-picked professional drivers deliver bespoke, individual programs with one instructor per car and a maximum of five cars in total.
A perfect mix of advanced driving time, real ice, and rally tracks becomes the ideal playground to challenge yourself and “your” rally-inspired RS edition. Everyone can join, regardless of experience. Our trainings are one-to-one and highly personal – so no former experience is required.
Arctic Control
This program is possible to be fully individualized, so it fits just you, we start at your level and progress as quickly as you wish. If you’re less experienced, we’ll begin with a short driving introduction before heading to the tracks, where you’ll soon master the fine art of ice driving.
Together with your instructor, you will create the perfect program, combining section training and full track driving to match your individual skills and goals. Our radio system ensures easy and comfortable communication with your instructor and co-driver.
For the more experienced, simply tell us how fast you want to go, and we’ll help you get there. The program is also further enhanced by our special night-driving sessions.
Arctic Race
Program similar to Arctic Control, but with the added option of competition aspect. The program is also further enhanced by our special night-driving sessions. It’s all about speed and excitement, without sacrificing fun. Whether you choose Arctic Control or Arctic Race, our goal is to deliver “driving heaven” —and it doesn’t stop there! We will offer to introduce the stopwatch and let you rally through the forest on over 10 km long, hilly, curvy rally stages if you wish.
The result is a true rally experience, complete with pace notes, allowing you to race against your co- driver and others in the group. To achieve this, we don’t just teach you how to drive a stage, we teach you how to drive it as fast as possible, pushing you to and beyond your limits.
Arctic Control and Arctic Race are 2 full day driving programs. On selected dates we offer an individual option of an extra day for those who simply can’t get enough. (Arctic Advanced)
Arctic Team

Arrival Day
Arrive individually at Kittilä Airport, where our team will meet and greet you. A short shuttle through the arctic landscape to your private lodge or villas.
Take time to settle into your Nordic surroundings — whether you choose to explore the nearby winter wonderland or unwind in your unique accommodation with panoramic views of the surrounding fells.
The chief instructor will host a briefing on ice driving techniques, covering the most important factors for achieving full car control, followed by a local welcome dinner.
Be sure to rest before the action starts tomorrow.
Driving Day 1
After an early breakfast and a short shuttle, we place you exactly where you belong — behind the wheel — with cars prepared for you and tracks carefully designed to match your level. With over 25 kilometers of Arctic tracks (and no shortage of imagination) this is unparalleled globally. We have shaped the terrain to create the perfect balance of challenge, flow, and pure driving enjoyment.
Finally, a full day of training customized to suit your skills, abilities, and goals! You’ll start with section training to get to know the cars and tires, followed by full-track driving.
After a full day on the tracks, we’ll enjoy a joint dinner with the entire team at the tracks so we can get the most out of the driving day.
Before you enter the tracks, seat fitting and introduction to the cars is needed to ensure your comfort while driving in the coming days.
For the Arctic Race option, we’ll also host a rally pace note briefing at dinner in preparation for what awaits tomorrow.
Driving Day 2
Enjoy breakfast before heading back to the track for more intensive and customized ice driving. Today we enter new and more demanding tracks, and the intensity increases as much as you can handle – we have tracks for all driver levels.
For the Arctic Race option, you can opt for the full rally experience with stage times just like a real winter rally. Long stages and maximum adrenaline. If timing is not for you then keep practicing and enjoy this driving nirvana.
Tired but still full of adrenaline after another full day with more than 6 hours of active driving, we head to a special location for a “see you soon” dinner at the lodge, sharing stories and reliving all the great driving moments from the past two adrenaline-filled days.
Departure Day
Maybe it’s time for a morning sauna, a delicious breakfast, or simply a well-deserved sleep-in.
When the time comes, we will shuttle you to the Airport.
No big goodbyes — we know we’ll see you again. Until then, take the snow, the laughs, and the stories with you. Safe travel and keep your engines warm!
Driving Area & Accommodation
Driving Area & Locations

Pure focus adrenaline, freedom, and no waiting time. Tracks are refined and specific to cover all wishes. All layouts are designed by the team to deliver even more variety, challenge, and fun than anywhere else. Located 150 km north of the Arctic Circle to ensure cold weather and combined with the low number of cars this means the lowest risk of weather-related cancelations, so far never happened.
This area features all three distinct undergrounds — frozen lake, marshland, and hard-packed rally terrain — this means every imaginable track layout is possible. From tight hilly rally cross style tracks with huge elevations to flat wide highspeed tracks filling you with adrenaline. Spread over more than 10 km² with a total of 25 kilometers of track for only 5 cars!! Unparalleled anywhere. A few selected tracks allow 4–5 cars at a time for a true racing experience.
All this creates your ultimate Arctic driving playground — every year more refined and thrilling than ever. The driving area is located only a 20-minute scenic drive from the lodge/villa, and reaching it is part of the experience itself, offering time to focus before the action starts and to bring adrenaline levels down at the end of the driving days. The demanding and challenging tracks become both “battlefield and playground”, rewarding you as you build your skills while flying fast and sideways through the Lappish Forest.
A small but warm hut stands at the center of the action, where breaks are spent and dinner is enjoyed by the fireplace, sharing the great moments of the day.
Accommodation
Our handpicked lodge and villas are located in the remote Äkäslompolo in Northern Lapland, surrounded by pristine wilderness and authentic Lappish charm. Kittilä Airport, with direct flights from many major European cities, is just a 40-minute transfer away. If you prefer a special shuttle, why not replace the minibus with snowmobiles and arrive in style!
The main Spirit of Speed Lodge is nestled in the middle of the forest; the charming lodge offers over 500m² of refined Nordic living with every detail is designed to elevate your experience. Each room with bathroom becomes your recharge station and why not enjoy the hot tub or sauna? A large joint living space where stories are shared and building camaraderie in true Lapland style.
