Beyond Adventure cars defy extreme conditions!

Winter in the Arctic is the ultimate test of both driver and machine. During the latest Spirit of Speed season, the KALMAR Beyond Adventure fleet faced exactly that challenge, operating in temperatures as low as -35°C and navigating periods of heavy snowfall across our driving areas deep inside the Arctic Circle.
The conditions were demanding, but they also highlighted the capability and reliability of a fleet specifically prepared for life in extreme environments. From early morning starts in intense cold to full days spent on snow and ice, the cars performed consistently throughout the season, allowing participants to focus on improving their driving skills and enjoying every moment behind the wheel.
The continued growth of the fleet enabled us to welcome more drivers than ever before. With a greater number of cars available, guests benefited from increased driving time, smaller groups and more personalised coaching from our instructors. The result was a more immersive experience, giving participants the opportunity to spend more time refining car control techniques and building confidence on low-grip surfaces.
Each car is carefully prepared for Arctic conditions. Upgraded suspension systems help absorb the demands of uneven snow-covered terrain, while WRC-spec tyres provide the grip and predictability needed for precise driving on ice and packed snow. These modifications are not about chasing lap times but about creating a platform that inspires confidence and delivers an engaging driving experience in conditions that would challenge most vehicles.
Throughout the season, the fleet proved itself once again. Day after day, the cars tackled frozen tracks, deep snow and extreme temperatures with remarkable reliability. Whether drifting through technical corners or carrying drivers across long snow-covered sections, they demonstrated the durability and character that have become synonymous with KALMAR Beyond Adventure.
In an environment where preparation and reliability matter more than outright performance, the fleet delivered exactly what was required: dependable, capable machines ready to embrace the Arctic at its most demanding.
