This year, we had the pleasure of attending Le Mans Classic, one of the world’s most prestigious celebrations of historic motorsport.
Held every two years at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe in France, Le Mans Classic brings together thousands of enthusiasts, collectors, manufacturers, and drivers to celebrate the heritage of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With hundreds of historic racing cars on track and thousands more on display, it is a unique gathering for everyone who shares a passion for automotive history and engineering.
We were proud to be invited to take part in this remarkable event.
During Le Mans Classic, we presented our latest creation — the KALMAR RS-7. Inspired by the spirit of legendary endurance racing, the RS-7 combines classic 911 character with modern performance, enhanced capability, and the craftsmanship that defines every KALMAR build.
Based on the iconic air-cooled 911 platform, the RS-7 was created as a driver-focused machine for those who want to experience the thrill of a true sports car while having the confidence to explore beyond the racetrack. With a lightweight approach, upgraded chassis, bespoke engineering solutions, and a focus on precision and reliability, it represents our vision of what a modern classic performance car can be.
Over four days, we met enthusiasts from around the world, shared our vision, and talked about the adventures we are preparing and the cars that make them possible. It was a pleasure to connect with so many people who appreciate vehicles that are built not only to be admired, but to be driven.
Our car attracted plenty of attention throughout the event. Even more importantly, it demonstrated exactly what it was built for—it completed the journey to Le Mans and back on its own wheels. For us, that is what classic motoring is all about: reliability, capability, and the confidence to take on real journeys, not just short trips to exhibitions.
Le Mans Classic was more than an event; it was an opportunity to exchange ideas, meet fellow enthusiasts, and be part of a community united by a shared passion for exceptional cars and unforgettable experiences.
