7 days across Morocco during KALMAR Beyond Adventure Morocco Extreme — a journey that took us from the Atlas Mountains and the ancient ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, through winding desert roads and remote landscapes, all the way into the vast Sahara dunes near Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, where soft sand, endless horizons, and true teamwork shaped the adventure.
Some of the areas we drove through might even look familiar – parts of The Mummy were filmed in this region, and it really does feel like being inside a movie set. Ending in the Medina, with its narrow streets, constant movement, and everyday life bringing a striking contrast to the silence of the desert.
And the cars? Absolute heroes. Pushing through soft sand, climbing dunes, they had some stuck moments surely – took a proper beating but kept going, making the whole adventure possible.
